If you do not have your family’s tickets to see “The 39 Steps” playing at the Lyric Theatre on the west side of the square in Eastland for this weekend, we suggest you secure them as soon as possible.
Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps” 1935 edition adapted in 1996 by Patrick Barlow into a thriller parody turns this vintage film classic into a hilarious production to be enjoyed by all. There is a cast of 6 that play numerous characters speaking multi languages and dialects with many twists.
The show will be at the Lyric Art Center (originally the Lyric Theatre, which has been renewed over the years by countless volunteers). The Live play runs are Friday the 17th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday the 18th at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday the 19th at 2:30 p.m.
