Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he is sending cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for December, 12.4 percent more than in December 2021.
These allocations are based on sales made in October by businesses that report tax monthly.
The City of Eastland, according to the Comptroller’s website, will receive $160,611.50, up 15.93% from the comparable payment in the prior year of $138,533.36. Year to Date, Eastland is 16.79% over the prior ytd payment of $1,672,503.22, having received $1,953,349.99 in sales tax allocations.
