WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Rep. Roger Williams (TX-25) announced his assignments to the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy and the Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions for the 118th Congress.
“I am honored to be selected to serve on these two import-ant committees under the leadership of Chairman Andy Barr (KY-06) and Chairman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-03),” said Chairman Williams. “With over 50 years of private sector experience, I look forward to bringing in my perspective and understanding of the prudential financial regulators and their impact on Main Street to the subcommittees. I am ready to get to work to put forward policies that stabilize the economy, end the politicization of our financial systems, and combat the growing threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party. Thank you to Chairman McHenry (NC-10) for the opportunity to serve on this crucial committee, and I look forward to working with my colleagues on expanding economic growth for all Americans.”
