From the Gorman Mayor

Since my last article, Gorman received a lot of rain. What a blessing! I hope the next big rain we get is over the water shed for our area lakes. Lake Proctor and Leon are still very low, and we have a lot of catching up to do before next summer. So, don’t stop praying for rain but be more specific about the locations that receive it, please!

It was brought to my attention that some folks in town may not know that we have a Library. We actually have a very nice, well stocked Library that is under- utilized. We are only open from 3:00pm to 5:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Library has free Wi-Fi and computer access as well as a printer @ .10 cents a copy. Donations of gently used clean books are welcome and may be brought to the Library during the hours they are open, or you may call the number posted on the front of the Library and make arrangements for the Librarian to meet you. Please don’t leave books unannounced outside the Library.
