The Gorman Panthers will close out their 2023 football season this Friday with a showdown against rival Lingleville. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. in Lingleville.
The Panthers, fresh off a 59-14 loss to Bryson last week, head into the contest looking to snap a 7-game losing streak that dates back to Sept. 1. Lingleville is 2-7 overall and has dropped its last five outings.
The Cardinals, who are tied with Gorman for fifth in the District 9-A standings, are averaging 19 points per game offensively. Gorman comes into the season finale averaging 17.7 points per contest.
