The Rising Star Wildcats journeyed to Paint Rock for their District opener and walloped the Indians 54-6.
The game started slowly with each team having three possessions. The Wildcats broke into the scoring column first when Kobey Morris found Blake Wilson all alone in the endzone for the first score of the game. The PAT sailed wide left and the first quarter ended with the Wildcats leading 6-0.
The Cats increased their lead to 12-0 when Payton McGinn broke loose on a 47-yard TD run.
