The Perrin-Whitt Pirates scores six times in the third quarter on Friday and rallied to claim a wild 70-44 comefrom- behind win over the Gorman Panthers in District 6-A action. The Pirates had trailed at the half by a 24-21 clip.
The loss spoiled a sensational effort on the part of Gorman spreadback Nathan Rodriguez. A junior, he finished with more than 300 all-purpose yards, including 252 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He also passed for 90 yards and a pair of scores.
