Jodi Frizzell’s whole life has been immersed in art to the point that she is now the Art Department Chair at Cisco College.
“My mom owned a ceramic studio when I was young,” she said. “I grew up playing with clay, and that really sparked my creativity. Once I hit about fourth grade, I competed in UIL Picture Memory, and did well. I discovered I really enjoyed the history side of art. When I would have a birthday or when we would go on a family vacation, I would always ask to visit the nearest art museum.”
Her favorite art museum was the Art Institute of Chicago, her gift for her 18th birthday.
