Mary Dyanne Thompson Obituary

Mary Dyanne Thompson Obituary

Mary Dyanne Thompson went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2023, at the age of 79.  Dyanne was born in Gorman, Texas on September 30, 1943, to Lonnie and Arlene McCurry.  She married Doug Thompson on April 29, 1963, and together they raised two sons.  Her faith in God and her love for family and friends were extremely important to Dyanne which you could see through the time she devoted to them.  She enjoyed playing games and was a fierce competitor in bridge, bunko, chicken foot and anything that would bring people together around the table.  She was very involved in the WMU for many years at the United Methodist Church in Baird where she served as secretary and numerous other roles.  Dyanne loved being around people, building relationships, and helping others.

Dyanne is survived by her husband of 60 years Doug, and their two sons. Son: Brad and wife Debbie of Carbon, and their children Taylor and Tanner and wife Susan. Son: Bryan and wife Tesa of San Angelo and their children Kelsi and Katie and husband Austen, Kennedy and Blaine.  Brother: Dean and wife Gail of Lewisville and their children Scott, Kevin and Kaylen and their spouses and children. Aunt: Marjorie Adair of Georgetown and her children Marsha, Wes and their spouses and children.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Cisco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
