The Ranger Bulldogs found themselves in a gutcheck situation early in the third quarter in their showdown with the Kopperl Eagles on Friday. Down by 10, the Bulldogs could have rolled over.
They didn’t.
James Uhlhorn rushed for several touchdowns and the RHS defense came up huge when it had to en route to guiding Ranger to a stunning 59-58 come-frombehind win. The Bulldogs outscored Kopperl by 2318 in the final 20 minutes of play.
