October 1, 2023 will be a special day for Eastland Baptist Church. We will have two missionary families with us sharing their burden for the mission fields to which they are called. These are the first two missionaries our young church has invited to be with us. The gospel is needed all over the world. We are so thankful to have young families answering the call of God to take the gospel to places we may never have an opportunity to go. Missions will be a big part of Eastland Baptist Church!
Our missionaries are Stephen Trimble and Chad Hainline. Brother Trimble and his family are going to the Mindanao Islands in the Philippines. Stephen was raised on the mission field in the Philippines. Brother Hainline and his family are going to Kenya and South Sudan, There is a great need for the gospel to be preached and churches being planted in these areas. I am sure our hearts will be stirred by these two men and their families as they share their burden for the lost.
We will have one service at 10:30 Sunday morning with lunch to follow. After lunch we will have our afternoon service, which is normally at 4:00. Each missionary will be showing their video presentation, preaching and providing special music with their families. We would love to have anyone in our community to come and enjoy this day with us!
