The Clyde Bulldogs scored three times in the second quarter on Friday and then held on to claim a 40-28 victory over the Cisco Loboes in the season-opener for both squads. The game was played in front of a large crowd at Clyde’s Bulldog Stadium.
The Loboes held their own early against Clyde. Cisco, under the guide of new quarterback Kannon Orsagh, powered its way to a pair of second quarter touchdowns and trailed by a 33-21 klead at the half.
Orsagh, who replaces Hunter Long under center, turned in a stellar effort in his debut. He completed nine of his 16 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown – strike to Julius Proffitt.
