Frankie Joyce McGough, 75, of Cross Plains was called home by her Lord and Savior on Sunday August 20, 2023, surrounded by family.
Frankie was born December 24, 1947, to Pat James McGough and Hilda Joyce (Welch) McGough. She attended school in Cisco. She was saved and baptized at Nimrod Baptist Church at the age of 10. Frankie loved the Lord and served him faithfully until the end. She was a member of Living Water Ministries since 1995 and was ordained as a deaconess in 1999. She was a prophetic intercessor and served as lead intercessor of her church for almost 20 years. She also served as a chaplain at Abilene Regional Medical Center for several years. Frankie loved her family and friends and could often be found praying for them and all of those in need. What she lacked in physical strength, she well made up for spiritually. She was an avid reader and loved watching Jeopardy, as well as fishing and gardening.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Letney of Lake Brownwood; her daughter, Charlotte Townson and husband Corey of Cisco; four grandchildren, Caleb Townson of Cisco, Erin Townson and fiancé Tristian Thompson of Eastland, Abby Jones and Jenna Letney, both of Abilene;
