Have an early case of spring fever, here’s the cure! Grab your garden gloves and join other garden enthusiasts for a workday at the Community Garden, First Methodist Church, 215 W. Mulberry on Thursday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Box lunch, snacks and water will be provided. Workday tasks include repair and re-building garden beds, prepping beds for spring planting and clearing debris.
If you have driven down Commerce between Mulberry and Green, you may have noticed the progress made at the Community Garden. Friends and neighbors come get your hands dirty for a good cause…beautifying the community garden for all to enjoy. Share your gardening experience, get involved and grow! This project is a joint effort of First Methodist Church of Eastland and the Texas Extension Education Association (TEEA) of Texas A&M AgriLife.
