Cody Hutchinson has been named a winner in the International Tonal Composer’s Festival that will take place in Brasilia, Brazil this July and August. He has written an original orchestral composition entitled “Who We Are” that will have it’s world premiere performed by the Brazilian National Orchestra, Brazil’s leading orchestra.
“The piece is about finding our identity in Christ in a culture where identity is becoming blurred and there is no longer the acceptance of One Unifying Truth, but rather many avenues to salvation. We know this to be incompatible with our beliefs as Christians,” Cody says. He feels this opportunity allows him to spread the gospel through music among the nations and proclaim boldly that Christ is our only hope.
Cody is seeking donations to help this become a reality. All funds will be used for travel, professional recording (both video and audio), editing, production, and other performance expenses.
