The Eastland County Retired Teachers Association awarded four scholarships to Eastland, Cisco, Gorman, and Ranger seniors for 2023. Each scholarship recipient received a $500 scholarship to attend Cisco College or Ranger College.
Each year the ECRTA raises money for their scholarship fund and gives back to the Senior Class of each school in Eastland County.
This year’s recipients were Amber Contreres, from Eastland High School. Amber is planning on attending Cisco College. Justice Fox, from Cisco High School. Justice is planning on attending Cisco College. Eduardo De La Cruz from Gorman High School. Eduardo plans on attending Ranger College. Jesse Honeycut of Ranger High School. Jesse plans on attending Ranger College. ECRTA congratulates all four of these young adults and wishes them well in their educational endeavors and is proud to award them with these scholarships.
