Texas Family Defense Committee welcomes parent advocate/activist Missie Carra on Thursday, January 26, 2023, in the Big Dam Room of the beautiful Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 West I 20, Cisco. Doors open at 5:30; the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.

Missie will discuss “school choice,” ideas circulating in the legislature, and what they could mean for public, charter, private and home school students.

Missie Carra was inspired to become a parent advocate/activist following a personal experience with radical agendas and ideologies inside public schools. Since then, she has participated in State and National level efforts as an advocate for parent’s rights and protection of children from harmful elements of indoctrination. She’s passionate about educating others about these issues, as well as sharing resources and available supports to help make informed decisions about a child’s education and healthcare.
