Vic Stacy, 77of Bandera, Texas passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2023. He was born May 15, 1946 in Gorman, Texas to Charles Junior Stacy and Ramona Maxine (Westmoreland) Stacy.
Vic grew up in Gorman, Texas and graduated from Gorman High School. He spent many years working on the family farm with his father as a peanut farmer and raising cattle. After his father’s passing, he worked in the oil field industry during the oil boom and established his own welding business. He loved leatherworking, horses, and was an expert marksman and hunter from the time he could hold a gun. He was honored by Governor Rick Perry and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for his valor and courage saving the lives of a police officer and deputy.
