The Roaring Ranger Bull Riding saw “standing room only” crowds over the weekend at the arena set up at the old Ranger Sale Barn. Chute 2 Productions, a Springtown ,Texas Bull Riding Production company produced three shows on Saturday. Cody Armstrong from Skiatook, Oklahoma bested the field of 64 riders with an electrifying ride and an 82 point score to win the Event aboard a great bucking bull from the ASE Rodeo Company out of Corsicana ,Texas.
Weather was gorgeous the whole day making the First Annual Roaring Ranger Bull Riding a huge success. Ken Charman, President of the Ranger Citizens Task Force says they are already planning next year’s event. “The vendors all did really well and have pledged to return to our next event”, said Charman on the end of the Event. “ We had to add some extra seating for the evening show because of the overwhelming response of area spectators”.
The shows were crisp according to Kelly Clark owner of Chute 2 Productions. “Our evening show was one hour and twenty minutes in length”, say’s Clark,” It’s the exact time we shoot for”. The two bull ridings will be featured on the Cowboy Chanel Plus App. The timing of the shows are critical because of the T V timing.
